Collaborative capabilities for mission-critical systems

 

Tactical data links (TDLs) ensure optimal situational awareness and command & control capabilities in increasingly complicated and contested environments. Offering both theatre-level connectivity and long-distance real-time communications, TDLs are a key asset for modern forces on joint and/or coalition operations.

Co-developed with the most demanding users, Thales's TopLink family is a range of combat-proven TDL products and solutions featuring leading-edge capabilities and technologies. 

More than 200 TopLink systems are in service in more than 15 countries and have been fully proven in the most demanding air, land and naval environments. Programmes that rely on TopLink include NATO's Air Command and Control System (ACCS), a National Ground-Air Communications System in the Middle East, MARTHA (France), SAMP-T (GBAD), E-3F AWACS and T31 frigates (UK).

TopLink complies with the latest NATO standards for Link 11, Link 22 and Link 16 communications and with national requirements such as LCALL and LU2. It also features a standardised interface for any type of Combat Management System (CMS).

The TopLink range includes Data Link Processors (DLPs), stand-alone solutions and terminals incorporating easy-to-deploy, multi-link configurations. 
 

TopLink DLPs

  • TopLink-Core is a data router and forwarder for simultaneous communication over heterogeneous networks. Adds-ons are available for C2 systems (TopLink-Commander) and weapon systems (TopLink-Effector).

TopLink-Mint

  • TopLink-Mint is an extensive range of stand-alone, versatile, easy-to-deploy multi-link connectivity and forwarding solutions housed in a ruggedised crate.

TopLink-Sandy

  • TopLink-Sandy is an innovative user interface providing information on the tactical situation on a ruggedised tablet.

MIDS-LVT terminal

  • The MIDS-LVT BU2 terminal (Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Low Volume Terminal Block Upgrade 2) provides secure sharing of military tactical data links through the Link 16 network.
