Climatic tests test the behaviour of equipment in its future, nominal operating environment in terms of temperature and humidity.
We also test the equipment in extreme climatic conditions. The tests can be performed on complete systems or subsystems.
The Laboratory can test systems between -60°C and 150°C with regulated relative humidity, from 10% to 98%, using our different chambers: large volume, medium and small volume.
As Thales DMS UWS is specialised in equipment for submarines and surface ships, we have a salt spray chamber to simulate aging due to corrosion, on samples.
