Mechanical tests
-
The purpose of vibration and shock tests is to reproduce the stresses that a system could sustain during transport or operation under normal or extreme conditions.
The Laboratory is equipped with an electrodynamic generator and an actuator that reproduces these environments. Our vibration shakers can generate variable frequency vibrations in all three directions of space, shaking or shocking with a maximum thrust of 36kN.
We can test systems weighing up to 1 tonne. We have other test facilities that allow us to simulate roll/pitch movements and shocks up to 500g.
