EMC (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) tests
-
Electronic systems often operate in close proximity to other equipment with electronic functions. These systems can interfere with each other and cause malfunctions.
In order to reduce the risks, manufacturers must test the electromagnetic compatibility of the electronic equipment they wish to offer for sale.
The system is placed inside a Faraday cage, which isolates it both electrically and magnetically from the outside world. The Faraday cage is covered with cones that absorb electromagnetic waves. The cones allow us to be free of all wave reflections on the walls. Our test equipment allows us to perform tests up to 18GHz.
