TopLink is a suite of state-of-the-art Data Link Processors (DLPs) that can be tailored to specific needs and provides extended multi-link routing and forwarding capabilities for ground, naval and airborne platforms. 

It can be hosted on COTS or ruggedised onboard computers and provides a full set of advanced features for C2 systems and weapon systems.

TopLink-Core is a software-defined data router and forwarder that acts as a gateway for simultaneous communications over heterogeneous networks. TopLink-Core can be used in a stand-alone configuration or interfaced with one or more hosts. Thanks to this multi-host capability, TopLink-Core optimises the use of transmission resources and provides full connectivity for network management systems.

TopLink-Core is able to translate and forward messages between NATO’s Link 11, Link 16, JREAP (Joint Range Extension Application Protocol)  and Link 22 standards as well as VMF, LCALL and LU2. New links can be implemented easily thanks to the modular, scalable architecture of TopLink-Core.

More than 200 TopLink systems are in service in more than 15 countries and have been fully proven in the most demanding air, land and naval environments. Programmes that rely on TopLink include NATO's Air Command and Control System (ACCS), a National Ground-Air Communications System in the Middle East, MARTHA and SAMP-T (GBAD) in France. Etc.

TopLink-Commander is an add-on to TopLink-Core providing front-end services to command & control (C2) hosts.

Main features of TopLink-Commander:

  • Surveillance: Track numbering, saturation, reporting responsibility, conflict and alert, correlation
  • Weapon coordination and management: Command order, handover, pairing, controlling unit report, engagement status report
  • Air mission control: Controlling unit change, mission assignment, guidance vector, flight path, target data, engagement status, target/track correlation

TopLink-Effector is an add-on to TopLink-Core providing front-end services to non-C2 hosts.

Main features of TopLink-Effector:

  • Surveillance: Track database, saturation, filters
  • Air mission control: Control check-in, reception of mission assignment/vector/flight path, target data, engagement status, target/track correlation, pointer
  • Intra-flight: Mission/objective assignment, target data, engagement status

State of the art compact Airborne Computer hosting TopLink suite  

Designed to meet the growing needs of modern military airborne platforms in terms of optimised SWAP-C (Size Weight and Power – Cost), the ruggedised onboard computer is an easy-to-deploy, scalable, commercial off-the-shelf multi data link system, that is significantly smaller than legacy products. Hosting the TopLink software suite, the ARINC 600 compliant system is designed for harsh military environments and features latest-generation Intel® Core™i7 processors, a small form factor (2 MCU) and extensive I/O connectivity.
