Fast and Agile Capability 

Threats to civilians and military forces are changing and the diversity of these threats can only be defeated by truly flexible and rapidly deployable defence and security systems. 

RAPIDRanger is a unique, vehicle based, highly automated system capable of delivering a rapid reaction to threats from the air or the ground. The extremely versatile system can be integrated into a networked enabled force structure, coordinated with early warning Command and Control (C2) systems, and is capable of integrating and firing a range of missiles including Thales’ STARStreak and LMM.

The RAPIDRanger system can be fitted to many types of wheeled or tracked vehicles and is designed to include day, low light and thermal imager cameras, as well as an automatic target tracker (ATT) and a 360˚ surveillance sensor, providing RAPIDRanger with completely autonomous system operation.
 

Light and Ultra-Mobile

The system weighs less than 500 kg, and being of modular design, can be fitted to many types of wheeled or tracked vehicles. The RAPIDRanger open architecture enables the integration of a range of missiles including the highly effective STARStreak and LMM.

The RAPIDRanger is designed to include an integral 360° surveillance sensor - either a passive infra-red search and track (IRST) or integrated surveillance and track radar which provides the RAPIDRanger with completely autonomous system operation.
