The high-definition optics allow the capture of high-quality rolled or flat images that meet the ANSI/NIST and FBI Image Quality Specification (IQS) standards.
Coupled with Thales Cogent LiveScan Software, capturing finger and palm print images is quick and easy.
The built-in, real-time quality checks, sequence verification, auto center, and auto contrast functions increase the likelihood of quality image capture the first time, reducing duplicate effort and rejected transactions.
In December 2018, Thales acquired Green Bit, an innovative provider of biometric scanners.
Biometric scanners are being used more and more by Governments for citizens' biometric enrollment, authentication and other identity management purposes. These devices capture the fingerprint image that can then be stored and used in Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS).
This acquisition, combined with our biometric solutions, will allow us to offer our customers high-quality competitive scanners that will complement its document reader portfolio. Green Bit will fill-out our product range with innovative products.
