Mobile private network connectivity requires eSIM or SIM for secure subscription authentication. These subscriptions, or profiles, are specific to a mobile network and raise several challenges. eSIM/SIM preparation and production is a complex and time-consuming process that demands technical expertise. Private networks also often mean small quantities, and this usually comes at a cost.

Thales eSIM as a Service enables private network providers to order batches of ready-to-use eSIM profiles and SIM cards for their customers’ private networks in a swift and simple manner, and whatever the size. It also allows the ordering of blank SIM cards (i.e., with no loaded profile) that users can personalize later with an eSIM profile corresponding to the destination private network. This single-SKU blank SIM simplifies the private network providers' SIM stock management while enabling them to promptly connect their customers’ devices for test, pilot or production.

Thales eSIM as a Service will also facilitate future-proof deployments with services to update the eSIM profiles throughout their lifecycle.

What we provide

With Thales eSIM as a Service, you can order:

eSIM profiles with output file and QR code
Ready-to-use SIM cards, i.e. with an already loaded profile
Blank SIM cards, i.e. with no profile loaded, for later update

Our service includes Thales GSMA-certified SM-DP+ and a PC-based Local Profile Assistant (LPA) for the download of eSIM profiles to devices or blank SIM cards. We also provide SIM output files for the private network systems provisioning.
