Electronic Protection Measures (EPM)
Software Defined Radio (SDR)
Have Quick, SATURN and National FFH
More than 6,000 radios in service, combat proven
NextW@ve is the latest evolution of the TR 6000 V/UHF EPM series, providing full multi-band, multi-mode interoperability including fast frequency hopping and data capabilities.
Today, more than 6,000 TR 6000/NextW@ve radios are in service, and the airborne version is now in operation on a wide range of aircraft including fighters (Rafale, Mirage 2000, Tornado, etc.), helicopters (Tiger, NH90, Apache (D/E), H225M, AW-139, etc.), transport aircraft/air tankers (MRTT, C-130, C-17, etc.), and surveillance and special mission aircraft (AEW AWACS, Erieye, Globaleye, MPA C-295 etc.).
Within this product family, Thales offers as well the radio solutions required on the ground (fixed sites, deployable shelter) or on board naval platforms to provide secure ground/surface-to-air connectivity wherever it is needed.
Already adopted by major NATO countries, the TR6000/NextW@ve family is now well established in the NATO community as a reference for radio equipment operating in the latest NATO secure mode (SATURN).
The TR6000/NextW@ve also provides National Secure modes (voice and data) and has been selected by a number of non-NATO countries. In addition, thanks to NextW@ve multi-mode capabilities, non-NATO countries may have access as well to NATO secure modes for coalition interoperability if required. Indeed, Thales is one of the very few companies to have successfully delivered a nationwide tri-service communication system covering a National Secure voice and data capability and NATO secure interoperability.
With NATO's decision to make SATURN mandatory in operation in replacement of Have Quick I/II by 2024, the TR6000/NextW@ve family is the ideal solution to fulfil this mandate TR6000/NextW@ve radios are with a SATURN implementation fully compliant with the latest SATURN standard (STANAG 4372 ED4).
Building on two decades of experience in delivering the NATO SATURN capability to warfighters, with a large and continuously expanding installed base supported by well-established series production capabilities, Thales now offers this combat-proven product family for all SATURN Ed.4 retrofit and forward fit programs.
The family comprises an airborne version (TRA 6030-N) and a new high-performance ground and naval version (TRG 6060).
