The threats to military and civilian assets are accelerating in volume, diversity, and ferocity every day.
In an ever-changing battlefield, more and more modern and intelligent, with more and more pernicious flights of threats, a reliable surveillance is crucial to protect critical missions and armed forces in theatres of operations all over the world.
Thales Ground Surveillance Radars offer high technology sense and warn systems to monitor activity surrounding or on critical infrastructure areas such as battlefield, airports, borders, coasts and other critical infrastructures.
Our solutions
- The Ground Observer 20 Multi-Mission (GO20 MM) combines ground and low-level air surveillance in a single surveillance asset. It detects, tracks and automatically classifies the full threat spectrum simultaneously and provides a continuous 360° 3D volume coverage and an exceptional early UAV detection. The radar can locate in a single scan mode a micro drone up to 4 km and 2,600 feet, a man up to 9 km, a vehicle up to 12 km and a helicopter up to 15 km.
- The Ground Observer 12 (GO12) is the most compact and lightweight Ground Surveillance Radar for highly mobile ground reconnaissance missions. It detects, track and monitor targets on the ground and even low flying helicopters. The radar can locate a pedestrian in a distance up to 10 km or vehicle up to 20 km.
- The Ground Observer 80 (GO80) is a Long Range Ground and Sea Surveillance Radar addresses the stringent and demanding needs for surveillance, reconnaissance and target acquisition of the Armies, Navies, Border Guards and Coast Guards. It covers up to 40 or 80 km and detects a pedestrian up to 23 km or a small boat up to 27 km.
- The Ground Alerter 10 (GA10) is a portable C-RAM system for 360° Force Protection. It is combat proven in various missions, such as convoy protection, camp protection and has saved many lives in the recent past. Its integrated alert network warns military personnel of missile and mortar threats by generating an acoustic and visual alert at the estimated impact point area.
They can operate in all environments and are available in highly mobile configurations to answer the growing demands for flexible & compact Ground Radar solutions.
