Cyberattack detection and response
Thales delivers cyberattack detection and response solutions through its network of Security Operations Centres. These SOCs keep a watchful eye on IT infrastructure, providing round-the-clock supervision of each customer's information systems and launching a coordinated response to any incidents that may occur.
Thales has SOCs all over the world — Australia, Belgium and Luxembourg, France, Hong Kong and Singapore, Morocco, New Zealand, North America, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom
These centres detect, analyse and respond to threats in real time, and also assess compliance with national cybersecurity laws and policies and the NIS and NIS2 directives in Europe.
Thales offers on-demand services ranging from threat prevention and non-compliance assurance to cyber incident response for every type of customer environment: IT, OT and cloud. Depending on customer needs, services can be provided via a 24/7 MSSP platform, or in follow-the-sun or on-premise mode, or in any combination of hybrid configurations.
- Prevention services include cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability intelligence, vulnerability management and threat exposure management.
- Detection services include real-time threat detection in a range of scenarios using cyber threat intelligence and the infrastructure’s own security components: EDR, NDR, OT sensors, SGWs, etc. They can also use marker searches, search scenarios and other threat hunting techniques.
- Response services include routine incident analysis and response, on-demand forensic analysis and reverse engineering, and organising a deployable response in the event of a serious incident or crisis.
Thales works with market-leading technology partners and solutions providers including Microsoft, IBM, Splunk, ELK, Google, AWS, Palo Alto, Tenable, Nozomi, Sentinel One, Crowdstrike, HarfangLab and Cyberwatch.
These services are tailored to the specific requirements of customers in defence, avionics, space, finance, government, transport and industry.
