Lifetime extension measures include: 

• the thorough monitoring of the market to identify components which are likely to become obsolescent and the acquisition of stocks of spare parts, components and consumables that will secure repair and exchange 
• the redesign of obsolete components or equipment elements 
• the maintenance and renovation of the relevant test benches (supporting various generations of equipment)
•  a commitment to maintain the competencies required for all parts and components covered through the maintenance agreement.
