Space by the numbers: 10 satellites

On February 23rd 2015, there were 10 satellites available, at the same moment, in Thales Alenia Space's clean rooms, in Cannes facilities.

  • 2 civil telecommunications satellites: Eutelsat 8WB and TurkmenAlem/MonacoSat.
  • 1 defense telecommunications satellite: Sicral 2
  • 4 climate and environmental satellites: Meteosat Second Generation fourth model (MSG-4), Jason 3, Sentinel 3A and Sentinel 3B
  • 1 scientific satellite: Exomars
  • 1 High Resolution observation satellite: Gokturk
  • 1 satellite from Iridium NEXT constellation
