Network security: ANSSI renews qualification of Thales's cyberthreat sensor version 2.0.X
Thales's sovereign intrusion-detection solution, Cybels Sensor, provides cyberattack protection for the information systems of governments, enterprise customers and critical infrastructure providers. It is a futureproof solution designed to incorporate the latest innovations as they are developed, and to ensure long-term compliance with the highest security standards.
In-house or third-party security incident detection providers (PDIS1) can rely on Cybels Sensor to ensure the high level of security qualification and maintenance required to operate trusted national-level cybersecurity operations centres.
To provide maximum network protection, the sensor analyses huge volumes of data in real time, immediately alerting security supervision teams if a potential cyberthreat is detected. With its modular architecture, Cybels Sensor is designed to evolve as new AI algorithms become available. The Thales solution is robust, reliable, stable and flexible, and can be implemented in a cybersecurity operations centre by an outside service provider or by infrastructure operators themselves.
Thales is continuing to innovate with Cybels Sensor, regularly introducing new functions and usability features to meet customer requirements ever more closely. The company has filed a patent for the techniques used to decode specific protocols, enabling Cybels Sensor to provide tailored cyberthreat detection capabilities for OT, industrial and space systems, or for applications in air traffic management and military vehicles. Vulnerabilities are continuously updated with details of the latest cyberthreats and cyberattacks, which are provided by the company’s Cyber Threat Intelligence team. Thales has also developed a virtualised version of the solution, which simplifies platform integration on land vehicles, warships, commercial vessels, etc. to detect threats as close as possible to the network elements themselves and provide a core building block for embedded cyberthreat detection.
