The only full color display on the market using a single display for day and night, pilot can operate a smooth transition from day mode to night. Scorpion® is fully compatible with all standard Night Vision Google. Conformal and color symbology is now always available by day and night on an unlimited field of regard. Any standard video will be also available at anytime.
Scorpion® for helicopter is the result of all Thales background on fighter with Fixed Wings experience (Scorpion® is flying F16, F18, C130, CV10, A10) and and the largest operational background on combat helicopter with TopOwl flying on Tiger, NH90, Cobra &-Z, Huey, Roivolk, Attak).
Thales HMSD Scorpion® has been selected by Airbus Helicopters to be part of HForce program (Generic Weapon System for helicopter)the HMSD in programme « HForce ».
