Kenneth "Ken" Coleman is the vice president and general manager, Thales Avionics Services Worldwide, based in Piscataway, N.J. Ken, who joined Thales in 2009, was CEO of Thales Components Corp. from 2009 until 2013. Before Thales, Ken was Vice President for sales and general manager at Antenna Research Associates in Pembroke, N.J. Prior to his position at Antenna Research Associates, Ken was Vice President for Sales at Zentrix, a division of Brush Engineered Materials, and was responsible for offices in the U.S., Asia and Europe. Ken has more than 25 years of experience as a sales management professional in the global marketplace for RF and Microwave applications. He has served as a consultant to Loral Terracom and has developed a number of sales training programs and strategies to meet customer and corporate needs. In addition, for the past eight years Ken has been an adjunct facility member of Franklin Pierce College School of Business and has taught a wide range of courses in management, sales and marketing. Ken has been involved in a variety of community activities including serving on the Town of Merrimack School Board for fourteen years, eleven of which as Chairman. In addition he has served in the past as Chairman of Merrimack River Watershed Council, on the Board of Directors of WISS Institute, a non-profit policy think tank, and as a member of the Rotary. Ken currently serves as a board member of Gateway Community Services, which provides services to disabled children and adults. Ken earned a Masters degree in Accounting from New Hampshire College and a Bachelors degree in Political Science from East Stroudsburg University. |
