TopSIS-X provides a comprehensive suite of digital security enforcing functions (SEF) and communications security (COMSEC) measures, including TEMPEST protection.

• Meets need for secure multimedia information exchange between aircrew and off-board platforms, with multi-level security segregation achieved over a common network backbone
• Simultaneous management of up to four segregated security domains can be achieved without increasing system size, mass or integration complexity
• Levels of security protocol management and enforcing functions (such as confirming sender and recipient identity, ensuring data routing integrity and data segregation) are configurable and customisable to platform, role, missions or sovereign security needs

TOPSIS-X has a fully (re)configurable product design so that it can be easily adapted and upscaled to meet customer’s evolving needs.

The secure information system can be easily incorporated into any platform type, from small helicopters up to the largest fixed-wing aircraft, reducing integration time and through-life costs.

Its built-in growth capacity enables easy expansion of new communications equipment or crew stations to grow with changing aircraft or mission needs, meaning lower non-recurring costs and minimising the amount of hardware needed on the aircraft.

A compact design that optimises on-board footprint

TopSIS-X’s unique design enables the overall aircraft communications architecture to be reduced by hosting or integrating other comms functions:

• Optional integration of radio management (RMS) and secure open world gateway (VPN) functions
• Integrated Ethernet switching to provide secure data and voice capability in a single system
• Virtual control panels, which remove the need for physical control panels

Each of these can eliminate the need for installing and maintaining separate equipment, thus minimizing SWaP (size, weight and power) without compromising aircraft mission capability.
