In order to handle your application, Thales is collecting personal data.
Purposes
Any Personal Data that is collected on this website shall be collected and processed fairly and lawfully in accordance with data protection and privacy legislation applicable in the countries where Thales companies are established, notably the European Regulation n°2016/679 of April 27, 2016.
In any event, personal data shall only be used by Thales for the purpose of:

Legal basis
This processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Thales: ensure the recruitment of its workforce and manage internal mobility of its employees.
Collect of personal data
Personal data will be collected directly from you when you apply for a role in Thales, such as your name, address, contact information, work and educational history, achievements, CV (resume) and test results. We also may collect personal data about you from third parties, such as your references, prior employers.
To apply for a position, please, complete the form proposed here after on the site. All replies to the fields with an asterisk in the candidate profile of the e-Recruitment tool are mandatory to process your application; the other answers are optional and will not affect the examination of your application.
By submitting information and Personal Data to us through this website or otherwise and agreeing to this statement, you accept these Terms of Use and accept that Thales may process your Personal Data in accordance with these Terms of Use.
You agree that all information provided by you is in all respects true, accurate and up to date and is not, in any respect, misleading, deceptive or inaccurate or likely to mislead or deceive.
Notwithstanding anything contained in this statement, you agree to inform Thales in writing in the event that any of the information you have provided is no longer accurate or up to date during the period in which Thales Group retains your Personal Data.
Recipients - Transfers
Your personal data can be accessed by Thales managers in charge of the open position you applied for and by Human Resources as well as the Recruiters of the various subsidiaries of Thales Group worldwide.
In highly exceptional cases required by technical support of the application, and after having obtained Thales approval, European employees of our processor Workday could access your personal data. Thales has taken all organizational and contractual measures to ensure that technical support from Workday guaranties the protection of personal data.
Thales being an international Group, your personal data may be transferred outside of the data protection region your country is established within (for example outside of the European Union for EU employees), notably toward Thales recruiters located in the countries where Thales is established.
The transfer of your application data outside EU is for recruitment & selection purposes only. Thales will ensure adequate security measures for the transfer and processing of applicant data to the Thales locations in the countries where Thales operates.
By agreeing to this statement, you authorize Thales to process any personal data recorded in the form and you recognize that, for the needs of your application, your personal data can be transferred outside the European Union, in the countries where Thales is located.
Retention
Personal Data will not be stored for longer than is necessary. Unless you specifically request that we do not store your Personal Data regarding your application, we will retain the data for a period of 24 months from your latest contact with our recruitment site (note: these retention periods may be adapted if required by your national legislation).
This is to give us the ability of matching your details to any future suitable vacancies that may arise. After this 24 months period your profile details will be automatically deleted. You may request the removal of your Personal Data at any time earlier than this by notifying us in writing. If you do not wish Thales Group to retain your details, you will be deactivated on our system, and all personal details will be securely deleted.
Data subjects rights (access, rectification…)
In accordance with the relevant data protection regulations (such as the General Data Protection Regulation in the EU) you have the right to access your personal data at any time and the right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
You also have the right to request from Thales to correct or erase your personal data as well as the right to ask for the restriction of processing, to object to the processing or ask for data portability.

Security of personal data
Thales confirms that it has appropriate technical and organisational security measures in place to prevent unauthorised or unlawful processing of data, accidental loss of or destruction/damage to Personal Data.
All data submitted in Workday are encrypted in the database within secured data center.
In the event that you are provided with a user id and/or password at any time by Thales, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that user id and/or password. You agree to immediately notify Thales of any unauthorised use of your user id and/or password.
Any breach of the above conditions may result in legal action being taken against the individual concerned.
Your Account Information is password-protected for your own privacy and security. Data transmissions are protected by industry-standard SSL-encryption. Thales may amend this policy, however if any substantial changes in the way we use your personally identifiable information are made, we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages.
By agreeing to this statement you agree to Thales processing and storing your information and Personal Data for the purposes set out above.
We inform you that you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to the contact address mentioned above. This will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
