MINDS includes a comprehensive portfolio of functionalities for all imagery intelligence (IMINT) needs in order to assist analysts, commanders and decision-makers with a complete set of tools for any kind of missions.

Its architecture allows the system to process heterogeneous imagery data from multiple sources: optical, infra-red or radar (SAR) pictures, videos and GMTI (ground moving target indicator) plots provided by any kind fo air or space based asset (satellite, UAS, recce pods, etc.). This unique multisource capability enables the operator to generate directly relevant and actionable intelligence to be shared at all levels (strategic, operational, tactical) and for any type of operation, with the necessary agility.

MINDS covers the entire chain of image intelligence from image capture request to the production of reports. It therefore includes a workflow management tool, image processing and analysis tools and a product dissemination module to share intelligence reports on a need-to-know basis.

In addition MINDS includes a catalog allowing to capitalize on data and reports  integrated in the system during previous activities and share them among the community of interest consistently with need to know rules.

MINDS is scalable from a stand-alone tactical IMINT product to a full system for a national IMINT center with over 100 positions. It can be provided as a full turnkey stand alone system, hardware and software, or as a software solution to be implemented on customer's infrastructure.

Thales solution keeps on evolving to answer end user expectations by implementing new IMINT capabilities, deploying upgraded user interfaces as well as interfaces with other systems, and implementing AI solutions to ease end-users job and allow them focusing on high value tasks.
