Highly realistic, high fidelity training in the live environment

As the primary sensor OEM for the Royal Navy we can provide a higher level of fidelity through our training systems because we understand their capability requirements. This results in higher quality training that can be quickly and easily validated, without needing to consult a third party.

Receiver based stimulation of operational software also enables operators and maintainers to train in an environment that they will experience during operations. As a result, performance expectations are realistic, with no surprises from degradation, upgrades or system variations once using the
equipment in service.

Reconfigurable training systems also enable multiple platforms to be supported at any time, so customers do not need to invest in bespoke trainers for each platform.
 

Flexible delivery that enables you to achieve more

Over time, workplace training can become a burden on an operational platform. The fidelity provided through stimulation and replay reduces on the job training requirements significantly, removing the need for further workplace training.

Stimulating onboard systems with synthetic training assets in a live environment also enables teams to train whilst in transit, in high fidelity scenarios. This enables high fidelity individual and collective training previously only achieved through traditional multi asset exercises.

Using real time data that has been retrieved from previous missions, we can also support mission Lfe and rehearsals, further enhancing the operational capability of individuals and teams.

Rapidly Reconfigurable Maintainer Trainers (RRMT)

RRMTs that equip and empower maintainers to:

  • Learn and practice essential skills including operate, maintain diagnose and repair
  • Predict and support future maintenance and through-life support decisions based on accurate and up-to-the-minute data in real time
  • Enable enhanced decision support and optimisation planning
  • Assure highest system availability and minimise downtime

Stimulation

Receiver based stimulation of the operational software, which enables:

  • Sustainable training capability (no expensive emulation updates)
  • A mix of data types (replay, synthetic and live)
  • Onboard training capability (synthetic threat overlays)

Asset provision
A one-off deliverable where we train operators, maintainers or trainers as part of a system delivery or upgrade so
they can share learning internally.

Contracting for availability
Regular provision of refresher training packages to make sure SQEP is maintained 

Full managed service
Includes the build, design and delivery of the service, including generation of the training facilities. Responsible for delivering availability and capability - product, knowhow, documentation and personnel at guaranteed availability level.
