Through STEM* for ALL, our new grant and mentoring program, Thales Solidarity is committed to supporting young people who are passionate about STEM and are facing difficulties financing their studies.
*STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
The STEM for ALL award

Each year, 50 students will be selected to receive a grant of 5,000 euros and a year of support from Thales mentors. True 'Vocation Makers', the mentors will provide them with an in-depth understanding of what it means to work in a company and in the STEM field.
Eligibility criteria and documents to provide:
- Be a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) or hold a French residence permit: the programme is available in France and Belgium in 2025, and will be extended to the entire EEA starting 2026
- Be in your first year of STEM studies (University, post-baccalaureate school, BTEC HND (Higher National Diploma)/Diploma of Higher Education (UK)/Associate’s Degree (US), preparatory class, etc.)
- Be facing difficulties in financing your studies
- Have a genuine interest and vocation for the STEM field
If you match this profile, you have until March 31, 2025, to provide us, via the online platform:
- A motivational letter,
- A transcript of your grades from the first term, and
- Your parents' or legal representatives' tax notice
- You will also need to fill out a form and send us a video in which you answer the following question: 'How can science and technology make the world safer, greener, and more inclusive?’
Applications selected by the selection committees (between April and May) will be reviewed by the Grand Jury in June in order to select the 50 laureates of the STEM for ALL award.
