Contributing to the security and stability of the UK

For many years, we have contributed to the security and stability of the UK by providing the extraordinary technology of Thales Group to our customers in Government and industry. Our UK operations cover all Thales’ key business sectors, covering aerospace, defence, digital security and space. In our role as a strategic supplier to the UK, we deliver over £1bn in complex projects each year, both direct to MoD and the Home Office as well as via other primes and major multinationals in civil and defence markets.  This ranges from delivering the digital identity and security that underpins our connected world, to designing the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers.

And including exports from the UK, we contribute £1.6bn per annum in economic value (along with approximately £400m in tax), whilst sustaining a UK supply chain of over 21,000 jobs.
