Thales Completes T-Level Placements and Expands Apprenticeship Opportunities

Thales is proud to announce the successful completion of ten T-Level 2 placements at our Templecombe site in the South West. Additionally, our Crawley site in West Sussex has seen four students complete their T-Level 2 placements, in partnership with Yeovil and Crawley Colleges. Students are now actively applying for our Level 3 apprenticeships planned for 2025 in Industry at both Templecombe and Crawley.

This summer, Thales will also offer two T-Level placements in Crawley, providing a 315-hour paid experience, with the potential for students to pipeline directly into a Level 4 apprenticeship for 2026.

T Levels are an alternative to A Levels and other Level 3 academic routes for students. They combine a technical qualification, with a work placement, allowing students to combine academic learning with vocational experience. Our placement students work in the manufacturing part of the business for two months, alongside our experienced managers, apprentices, and apprentice alumni.

At Thales, we recognise that T Levels present a significant opportunity for local talent, expanding access to our apprenticeship programs and promoting diversity within the workforce. We are committed to building a strong skills pipeline and investing in future talent to drive innovation and growth.
