As the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) continues its world tour, we’ll be celebrating the power and the pride behind this unique deployment. 

At CSG’s heart is the Thales-designed flagship HMS Queen Elizabeth, the most powerful surface vessel in the history of the Royal Navy and the physical embodiment of how important the role of science has become to sovereign defence. 

It is science that enables us to create strategic advantage for our customers through technological edge. To invent, evolve and innovate. And to look to the future to provide decisive technologies in a fast-changing world. 

In many ways, the Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is a celebration of that science and technology and personifies what’s possible when Thales, the wider industry, and Government work together. But more than that, the CSG also celebrates the thousands upon thousands of individual contributions made by the people of Thales and our partners that, collectively, have brought the advanced science and cutting-edge technologies on board to life.
