Simulation systems reproduce high-risk situations in a safe, synthetic environment. They are particularly valuable tools for training pilots, drivers or critical infrastructure operators.
Thales is the world’s second-largest provider of simulation-based training solutions for aircraft and helicopter pilots, and our solutions span a variety of technological solutions ranging from traditional fixed and full motion simulators through to augmented, virtual and mixed reality trainers.
Our next generation high fidelity simulation platforms are cyber secure by design. Maximising passenger and operator safety and situational awareness, our solutions and services are made to definitively transform operational capabilities while reducing fuel usage and CO2 emissions.
Thales Australia is a world leader in the delivery, operation and support of synthetic training devices for both the civil and military aviation domains, and has very successful maintenance, support, training delivery and through-life engineering support contracts in place at a number of training centres in Australia.
Additional capabilities that Thales can offer include the development and delivery of Integrated Learning Environments, visual databases, simulator accreditation and training development services.
Thales has developed aviation training technology and services to meet the training needs of the Royal Australian Air Force, the Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Army. Thales’s full suite of training and simulation solutions are backed by tailored 24/7 services including engineering, maintenance, supply, facility IT and logistics support, ensuring each system is operational throughout every mission-critical moment and compliant with the Australian Defence Force SADL (Systems Approach to Defence Learning) process.
