Accessibility
What is digital accessibility?
An accessible website is one that allows people with disabilities to access its content and features without difficulty.
For example, an accessible website allows users to:
- Navigate using a screen reader and/or a braille display (commonly used by blind and visually impaired individuals).
- Customize the website’s display according to their needs (such as enlarging or shrinking text, changing colors, etc.).
- Navigate without using a mouse (using only the keyboard, a touchscreen, voice commands, or other adapted devices).
To achieve this, the website must comply with current standards during its development and updates.
Accessibility Statement
Thales is committed to making its websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with Article 47 of French Law No. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.
To this end, Thales is implementing the following strategy and actions:
- Accessibility was considered right from the start of the site redesign project, when the call for tenders for the redesign project was written. The aim is to achieve total accessibility of the site.
- Two main axes are covered:
- Developments: consideration of accessibility criteria during the design and development phase of the website in 2024 and early 2025. A pre-audit was conducted in June 2025, the correction of non-conformities was carried out for the audit. The audit was carried out before the launch of the website, with an overall compliance rate of 63%. New corrections have been made, allowing for a final overall compliance rate of 99% following the counter-audit carried out at the beginning of 2026.
- Contribution: provision of a guide to best practices for accessibility and continuous support for website contributors. The subject is part of the main communication axes to those contributors for the year 2026.
This accessibility statement applies to the website Thales: https://www.thalesgroup.com/.
Compliance Status
The website https://www.thalesgroup.com/ is partially compliant with version 4.1.2 of the Référentiel Général d’Amélioration de l’Accessibilité (RGAA). The non-compliances are listed below.
Test Results
The compliance audit carried out by Atalan on 13/02/2026 on the site in production revealed that 99% of RGAA version 4.1.2 criteria had been met.
Non-accessible Content
Non-compliances
List of non-compliant criteria:
- 13.3 On each web page, does each downloadable office document have an accessible version when necessary (except in specific cases)?
Exempted content
List of exempted content:
- Interactive chart "Current share price and historical chart" on the "Share and Shareholding" page (P15): The non-accessible elements of this chart cannot be corrected by Thales, and it seems difficult to propose a correct alternative. Moreover, this component is rarely used and does not interfere with the overall use of the site.
Establishment of this Accessibility Statement
This statement was established on February 13, 2026.
